Maruf Anowar is a Bangladeshi born Italian professional cricketer who plays for Roma Capannelle Cricket Club. Maruf is a right-handed batsman who bowls right-arm medium-fast. He was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Maruf's career began at Savar, Dhaka he played few T20 matches before moving to Italy where he signed with Roma Capannelle, playing 1ST XI cricket.

His first match for Roma Capannelle came against Asian Latina Cricket Club in a quarter final match for the 2017 Coppa Italia Championship. But, having had considerable success growing the sport at home, his love for the sport has inspired him to launch the Italian Cricket TV.
