What is NOC?

National Occupation Classification - NOC, is used by the Canadian government to provide a structure for analysis and assessment of occupation in Canada. It is a four-digit code and job description for every occupation in the labour market. A nationally recognized system, Immigration, Refugees & Citizenship Canada (IRCC) uses to evaluate candidate’s work experience

The first digit in the NOC code signifies Skill Type of occupation:
